FAQ

Q: What is the difference between an Administrator, Educator and a Student?
A: A student can take tests and learn from instances assigned to them. An Educator can assign tracks, create instances of a track, and grade assignments. An Administrator can do everything an Educator can, plus they can add students to a track, create new tracks, and update information in the tracks.

Q: How much does TAPS cost?
A: $15 per user per month

Q: Is there a monthly fee?
A: [answer]

Q: What types of files can I upload to my tracks?
A: PDF, MP4, DOCX, JPG, PNG, PPT, TXT

Q: What is a track?
A: For TAPS, tracks represent lessons or policies. A track can have multiple lessons within it, and it can be broken into multiple instances. Tracks contain all the information that is to be taught to the Student, be it video, a quiz, a text document or an image. [Link to “How to set up a track” video]

Q: What is an instance?
A: An instance is a smaller part of a track. Instances are useful for Educators and Administrators because they allow a single track to be taught to multiple groups without mixing them. As an example, a business might have multiple instances of its dress code for each department, to track which departments have read the code and which have not. Similarly, a teacher could have multiple instances for their different classes.
